The cemetery was established in 14th century and the tombstones are of a special type of memorial stones. The first written data on the necropolis number 122 stones and the latest published data speak about 93 tombstones, of which some have sunk into the ground.
Most of the stones are finely dressed, without any decorations; there are some decorated with the designs of circles, crescents, swords and shields. The stones are placed into regular rows of the west-east orientation, but with some variations.
